BUILD SERVE DEVLOP
MENTORING & CHARACTER GUIDANCE PROGRAM
MISSION//VISION: It is the goal of Impact to equip students with character, emotional/mental, and practical life skills to face everyday life through BUILDING great character, SERVING their community & family (we desire to serve the whole family), and DEVELOPING healthy values. What we offer has been proven to positively impact students' motivation, academic performance, leadership, self-esteem, self-control, relationship engagement, and emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
What Ages is this Program Designed for?: Elementary - High School Students
HOW WE DO THIS: Our program is 8 months long. We divide this up by 12-13 wks per school semester (summer program, 4-7 weeks), where we will provide engaging components that will equip students with mentors (coaches) to instill character guidance, emotional regulation, and support that help them develop into well-rounded, responsible, and compassionate individuals who can contribute positively to their schools, families, teams, and society as a whole. Our Impact Coaches meet with students weekly for 30min- 1 hour in a central location of the school campus. Coaches also check in on their students and parents outside the weekly program setting (if the school/parent has consented). We host an award ceremony at the end of the 8 months, providing an Impact completion certificate to students who have participated for 8 weeks or more. We also give The Impact Character award to students who have grown and developed in the values we taught them in the 8 months.
In addition we offer our monthly gathering for young people and families called “The Pack Gathering”/ "Family Night".
WHY: We believe that we live in a world that doesn’t need more things to pass the time, but rather, more people that are intentional with the next generation. The Impact program connects students to great potential and mentors, pushing them to grow and recognize their purpose. We believe that character development is one of the most practical yet effective measures we can use to see real, lasting change!
CURRICULUM: We also offer opportunities to purchase our curriculum $1,000/year ($500 a semester).
